This area IS going to be about the freaky weather that is happening all over the globe.
Examples from a report on 2013 global weather:
- Fact: 2013 was 3rd in named storms in the last 10 years. (Cyclones, Hurricanes, Typhoons)
- Fact: The US has set a record for the longest time EVER without a major hurricane making landfall - 8 years.
- Fact: 2013 was the 37th consecutive year of above average global temperatures (yes I know its cold outside but its warm at the north pole - should tell you something. This is a global average)
- Fact: 2013 was the fourth warmest year ever recorded since official data on global temperatures began being kept back in 1880
The world climate is changing and as it does people are having to deal with weather they aren't used to. This page is here to keep us all informed what is happening around the world and not just in our own back yards. Tornadoes touching down in Denver Co. - Denver is in the mountains! It is not normal to find a tornado at 5,000 ft above sea level in the Rocky Mountains. Buffalo NY, yes I know they get tons of snow up there all winter but not 5 feet in one day in November! Wake up people the worlds weather is changing - Climate Change is real and here to stay!
